Salesforce Panelist – Doina Fagurel

The London Salesforce Women in Tech organizers are incredibly pleased to be hosting with  Salesforce, an Evening with Ladies who Salesforce.  This event will be comprised of three parts.  A keynote from Anne-Marie Imafidon, Head Stemette, then a panel with 7 speakers from different roles within the Salesforce ecosystem and breakouts with these speakers.  Lastly, networking, drinks and nibbles.

Any questions for panelists, use the twitter hashtag #AskSalesforceWiT

Doina Fagurel (Popa)

Doina holds an MSc in “Computer Science” and an Executive MBA Degree in “Innovation and Business Creation” and has been active in the technology sector for over 16 years. Six years ago she discovered Salesforce and has been passionate about using her skills and creativity to guide some of the largest global Salesforce customers through their digital transformation journeys.

Doina was the first woman to achieve the Salesforce Technical Architect Certification outside of the United States in September 2014 and the third one worldwide. She currently holds in total 11 Salesforce certifications (Sales and Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder Developer, Advanced Developer and Advanced Administrator) and is also a certified Project Manager.

In November 2014 she was recognized as the Salesforce Woman of the Month, after being nominated by many of her colleagues. As a result, she shared a couple of career insights in an article featured on the Salesforce blog.

She is also acting as a judge for the Salesforce Technical Architect Certification review boards in EMEA and is actively mentoring and coaching her colleagues.

Doina is very passionate about supporting humanitarian causes, especially helping children with life threatening health conditions or who are in difficult situations, and strongly believes in the “pay-it-forward” mindset and particularly in the thought that any act of kindness towards one person may not change the whole world, but it may change the world for one person.

She has a 10 years old son and currently lives in Munich, Germany. They also have a huge, fluffy and lazy Romanian Shepherd Dog (Ciobanesc de Bucovina). She loves travelling and was very happy to have recently the chance to visit Nasa center in Florida where she loved learning more about space exploration and seeing the Atlantis Space Ship. She likes to call the Kennedy Space Center #DisneylandForGeeks.
